After the AMP was founded shortly before the last election under the chairmanship of CedarValiant, it was merged into the LUL, which was founded on Monday, according to a joint press release this evening.

It has only been a week since the AMP (Alliance for Mutual Progress) was re-established and it is already over. CedarValiant and LUL (Lyrean Unity League) Chairman SteelHand announced the merger of the two political parties on Friday evening at the first ‘League Conference’ in Westavalonna.

For those interested in politics, this does not come as a huge surprise, given the state of the political left in Pavia and the fragmentation into small interest groups that have been unable to present a coherent overall vision for Pavia.

The now expanded LUL hopes that this unification will increase its electorate and support in upcoming elections, bringing it closer to realising its manifesto.

The manifesto published on Monday includes many reformative and far-reaching aspirations, including the unification of the Lyrean Commonwealth into the Lyrean Empire, the creation of an Imperial Parliament and the federalisation of the Empire.

It remains to be seen whether LUL can mobilise a sustainable voter base and field a credible candidate in the next election. So far, LUL has not said what its future strategy or a revised manifesto will look like.
