On January 4th, Pavian citizenry from across all classes gathered to usher in a new era for the Empire, with the coronation of Pavia’s first Empress, Amber I of House Solberg. A beloved noble of the Crownlands, Her Imperial Majesty was the unanimous selection of the Ducal Council, succeeding the much-beloved reign of Emperor Hurin I.
Her Imperial Majesty is most well-known for her love of sorting and organization, helping to streamline countless Imperial building projects. Additionally, she is widely-praised for undertaking the monumental task of building Pavia’s City Walls during the early days of the nation, for which she was first made a noble of the Solberg Estate.
The coronation ceremony itself was largely organized through the efforts of Ansgardd Kheiron, Seigneur of the Isles and noble of Viridia. In their role as Master of Ceremonies, Seigneur Ansgardd assembled an emotion-provoking program replete with references to Pavia’s historical traditions, reverence to the canon of the Church of t, and extended musical productions from the Pavian Symphony Orchestra.
Aided by the priests of t Kael and Koentinius, the coronation brought together some of Pavia’s oldest institutions with some of its newest, from the iteration-spanning role of the Church of t, to a speech from Pavia’s Prime Minister Tatsu, who emerged onto the Pavian scene just months ago.
